I expect that if the Epic is done and the child tickets are also done, then the Epic should not be shown in the Backlog. It would appear that the only way that an Epic can be removed from this list is if all of the tickets in the Epic are set to the specific status of Done. Answer accepted. I recently received a similar request from one of the users I work with. Ultimately, you need to set the Epic Status to Done. To do this, add the Epic Status field to the issue screen. Once added, go into the epic that you want to mark as done, and change the epic status to done. This is different than the general issue status.
